DIRECTORS

Mr. Robert Taub - Founder of the company in 1992 and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Graduated from Antwerp University , Belgium , and subsequently in 1983 obtained an MBA from The European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD), Fontainebleau , France . Mr. Taub was co-founder of Octapharma, a plasma fractionation and pharmaceutical company, which successfully introduced innovative plasma derivative products to the market including a double-virus inactivated Factor VIII. Mr. Taub also founded Omrix Biopharmaceuticals, a company that developed and commercialized certain plasma derivatives including a novel fibrin sealant.

MANAGEMENT

To achieve the goals expressed by the directors, Recoly utilizes the services of outside consultants to provide specific expertise. The company is currently using the following consultants to supervise aspects of its business:

Dr. Moshe Baru – Research and Development - Obtained his D.Sc. from the Faculty of Biology, The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, and his B.Sc. with honours, from the Faculty of Agriculture, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Baru joined the company in 1992 and is in charge of developing the research & development of the company. Dr. Baru has extensive experience in the biotechnology industry including the fields of liposomes and hemophilia. Dr. Baru leads the company’s projects from research to advanced stages of clinical trials.

Dr. Jack Spira of Inspira Medical AB – Medical and Clinical Affairs - Dr. Spira received his MD degree from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and a PhD in Tumor Biology from The Department of Tumor Biology at the Karolinska Institute. He did postdoctoral work at Department of Biochemistry, State University of New York at Stony brook, NY, USA. Dr. Spira has nearly 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry and in managing clinical trials, including more than 10 years of experience in the field of hemophilia.

Mr. Christopher Lamb – Business Development
Mr. Lamb has over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry including Senior Vice President for the American Red Cross blood plasma business. He also served as President and Board member of a PRDT, a start up biotechnology company that developed methods to remove pathogens from biological material

Mr. Stephen Guth – Finance and Administration – Mr. Guth graduated from the University of Maryland and is a US Certified Public Accountant. In his finance career, which spans nearly 30 years, Mr. Guth has been a CFO for companies in the healthcare industry, served in senior financial roles in US public companies and rose to senior manager with Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Guth currently renders finance and administrative consulting services principally to companies in the health care field.
